Dining Room, Bar & Lounges
We are proud of our kitchen and hospitality at Aberdovey Golf Club.
Our aim is to provide members, guests and visitors with a memorable experience. Whether it be breakfast, all day snacks, lunches and teas or perhaps A la Carte dining in the evening, you will not be disappointed.
Our ingredients are locally sourced wherever possible and, importantly, we work closely with our suppliers to provide what is best and in season.
Under the stewardship of Gill, our caterer, and Gareth, the Bar Manager, you can be sure of a warm welcome. Gill is responsible for all our catering operations along with head chef Lee Bell who has extensive experience gained from well-known local establishments. He is ably supported by a team that includes Karen Lewis, Charlotte Smith and Katy Jones who are undergoing catering training.
Choose from a snack menu that might include home made soup with soda bread, fish and chips, pate, gammon egg and chips to an evening menu of pan fried scallops, roast fillet of cod with pancetta, fish stew, chargrilled leg of lamb or rib eye with béarnaise and fries. Follow this with pannacotta, bara brith bread and butter pudding, crème brulee or a selection of Welsh cheeses and freshly ground coffee ....the choice is wide and all yours!!
Sunday sees a traditional roast served at lunchtimes and booking is essential.

Gill's husband, Bryan, works in our well-stocked bar alongside Gareth, the Bar Manager, who puts the wine list together (after numerous tastings!!). Quality, variation and value are his prime considerations. Choose from real ales, lagers, Guinness, soft drinks, or perhaps a Whisky Mac or hot punch during the colder months?
Whatever the occasion... singles, couples, groups or large functions, we have the facilities to cater for you.
TV lounge
The TV lounge now boasts a 50" widescreen TV and Sky - ideal to see all the action from World Cup, the Ryder Cup, the Test matches and the Six Nations rugby in the comfort of its leather armchairs.
