GUW announces new competitions for Aberdovey

Aberdovey has been invited to host the Men's Welsh Amateur Championship in 2011. This prestigious tournament will run during the last week in July.

Liz Edwards, Director of Championships, commented that the recent alterations and improvements to the course and practice facilities makes Aberdovey a worthy venue for the tournament.

Future course alterations will extend the course to play over 6700 yards.
